ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM

Conference Chair:

Asst. Prof. Sasimanas Unajak

(Kasetsart University)

On behalf of the organizing committee, we are very pleased to announce that “14th International Symposium of the Protein Society of Thailand (PST)” will be held from July 22 - 23 at Maruay Garden, Bangkok. This is the first time for Kasetsart University to be a co-host of the PST conference organization. This conference will host a rich variety of topics in areas of research such as plant, industrial, medicine and animal. This conference will provide a chance for protein biochemists to observe current and forthcoming new technologies and interact with other experts with similar interests.

Emeritus Professor

M.R. Jisnuson Svasti

Chairman,
Protein Society of Thailand

It is my great pleasure to invite you to attend this 14th International Symposium of the Protein Society of Thailand (PST). Since its foundation in 2006, PST has arranged annual symposia for protein researchers and students to exchange their knowledge, experience and expertise with invited speakers, overseas scientists, senior researchers, and young scientists.

PST also co-hosted conferences with the Asian Oceania Human Proteome Organization in 2014 and the Asia Pacific Protein Association in 2017. James R. K. Cairns and I have also served as President of APPA for 2017 - 2020. All this helps increase the international visibility of protein science in Thailand.

All abstracts and proceedings submitted conferences of the society, including this international symposium, have been critically reviewed prior to oral or poster presentations, and publications. The Organizing Committee also works with companies to arrange booths for the exhibition of equipment and supplies for protein research, as well as Luncheon Lectures.

The Organizing Committee is very grateful to the Thailand Research Fund and Kasetsart University for their support. I hope that you will accept this invitation to attend this 14th PST Symposium, not only to learn about recent advances in protein research but also enjoy interaction with other protein scientists.
