Since its foundation in 2006, the Protein Society of Thailand (PST) has arranged an annual conference, named International Symposium of the Protein Society of Thailand (PST symposium). This symposium provides the opportunity for protein researchers to exchange their knowledge, experience and expertise with invited speakers, overseas scientists, senior researchers, and young scientists. PST has also co-hosted conferences with International Organizations such as the Asian Oceania Human Proteome Organization (AOHUPO) in 2014 and the Asia Pacific Protein Association (APPA) in 2017. All abstracts and proceedings submitted to these symposia have been critically reviewed prior to oral or poster presentations, and publication. With the belief that academia and industry should work together, PST also arranges for companies to display exhibition booths of equipment and supplies for protein research, as well as to provide Luncheon Lectures.
