Professor M.R. Jisnuson Svasti Outstanding Protein Scientist of Thailand Award

Concept

Over the last 20 years, protein research in Thailand has developed greatly, leading to the foundation of the Protein Society of Thailand (PST), which was formally registered in 2006. The Outstanding Protein Scientist of Thailand Award (Outstanding PST Award) is intended to recognize outstanding researchers in protein science, promote protein research, and increase the visibility of the Protein Society of Thailand. This award was initiated with an Endowment from Emeritus Professor M.R. Jisnuson Svasti, the first President of the Protein Society of Thailand in 2017. The award alternates year to year between senior and junior scientists with the Outstanding PST Award given in odd numbered years (western calendar) and the Young PST given in even numbered years. For 2019, we are accepting nominations for the Professor Dr. M.R. Jisnuson Svasti Outstanding PST Award.
