August 27-29, 2023

May 1, 2023

On behalf of the Protein Society of Thailand (PST), the School of Biomolecular Science and Engineering, Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), and the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, we are proud to present the 1st Workshop of the Protein Society of Thailand (PST2023) on Sustainable Resources for CRISPR-based Diagnostics, which will be held at VISTEC, Rayong, Thailand, during August 27-29, 2023.

Objectives:
The overall objective of the workshop is to build practical capacity in designing, producing, deploying, and using CRISPR-based diagnostics. The workshop aims to provide an understanding of the concepts behind CRISPR-based diagnostics and related enabling technologies, as well as practical knowledge in designing key components of CRISPR-based diagnostics. Moreover, it will provide technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the production of components (particularly the recombinase-polymerase amplification reaction) and formulations of CRISPR-based diagnostics. The workshop will be presented by our internationally and nationally renowned speakers.

Confirmed speakers:

Jenny Molloy (Cambridge)
Jonathan Gootenberg (MIT)
Omar Abudayyeh (MIT)
A representative from FIND, the global health alliance for diagnostics
Aimorn Homchan (VISTEC)
Chayasith Uttamapinant (VISTEC)
