The Protein Society of Thailand is pleased to announce “The SEA COAST Crystallographic workshop 2024 (South East Asia Crystallographic Overview And Systematic Training 2024)” at KMUTT, Bangkok, Thailand from Jan 29-Feb 7, 2024.
- The workshop is organized jointly by KMUTT, CCP4 (UK), Dr.Garib Murshudov from MRC-LMB (UK) and Dr.Ruslan Sanishvili from Crystallographic Education and Research Assistance, (USA). Leading experts from around the world will be giving lectures and tutorials in the workshop!
- SEA COAST 2024 will cover fundamental concepts of MX and all aspects of the structure solution process (Crystallization, Data collection theory, Beamline facilities, Data processing, Phasing, Refinement, Model quality & validation) and this time we will cover lectures on Cryo EM and Neutron Diffraction as well.
- The Highlight of SEA COAST 2024> is an opportunity to collect crystallographic data at Diamond Light Source (DLS), UK.*
- SEA COAST 2024 will feature most of the modern crystallographic software programs presented by the leading experts in the field from around the world. Participants are welcome to bring their own unresolved crystallographic data (optional) to work one-on-one under the guidance of the software developers.
- FEATURED SOFTWARE: CCP4, PHENIX, SHELX, Global Phasing, DIALS, XDS, MOSLFM, Phaser, Coot, ARP/wARP, ARCIMBOLODO, ALEPH, ALIXE, PISA, and more.
- ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS: Graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and more established young scientists both from academia and industry.
- On-line application is now open until December 15, 2023. The SEA COAST committee will select 30 applicants to participate in the workshop.
