The Center for Protein Structure and Function, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, the Laboratory of Biochemistry, Chulabhorn Research Institute, and the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Session (BMB) of the Science Society of Thailand have a pleasure to announce its 3^rd Annual Symposium of Protein Society of Thailand under the theme “Frontiers in Protein Research”. This year the symposium will be held in August 28-29, 2008 at Chulabhorn Research Institute Conference Center.

      As indicated by its theme, the scientific contents of the symposium for this year “frontier in protein research” will cover applications of various advanced protein technologies used in the study of protein biochemistry, protein functions and protein abnormalities in diseases. Attendants will gain updated knowledge through listening to renowned scientists and will have opportunity to discuss and share opinions among Thai protein researchers. The symposium will also serve as a platform for Thai protein researchers to exchange their views and experience in protein research.

      Unlike in previous years, the organizing committee decided to collect modest registration fee for attending the 3^rd symposium to cover the expenses;

               • 500 baht for non-member,
               • 300 baht for member,
               • 200 baht for student (non-member), and
               • 100 baht for student (member)
